WHAT’S "NOBUG"?
NOBUG stands for "Novell Oakland/Bay Area Users Group". We're a local chapter of Novell Users International, a not-for-profit organization for computer networking end users, administrators, and industry professionals using Novell products.

Our initial organizing meeting was held on Wednesday, September 17th, 2002, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in downtown Oakland, California.

    DUES:
    Dues have been set at $50/year. Dues are due each year on your membership aniversary date. Prospective members are welcome to attend a few meetings for free, to get a feel for our group, and see if they like it.

    MEETINGS:

    WHEN WE MEET: NOBUG meetings are held on the SECOND WEDNESDAY of every month. Please join us for dinner at 6:00 PM, business meeting at 6:30 PM, and our guest speaker from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM!

    WHERE: We meet at the BART/MTC/ABAG auditorium, located at 101 - 8th Street in Oakland, California. Our meeting location (directions) is just across 8th Street from the Lake Merritt BART station.

    "Early Adopter Experiences With Virtualization"

    This will be a round table meeting, in which we'll share experiences virtualizing servers using SLES 10/Xen, VMware, and Citrix XenServer.

    We'll talk about what does and doesn't work with NetWare, how to migrate single server trees to a virtual machine.
