Giants Fire Sale ...Jul. 18‚ 2007Dear Giants Curmudgeon, You got it right on the "fire sale". In fact, I'm hopeful it would improve the team this year, though that's not the point. What about the elephant in the room? I was happy the day the Giants signed Barry Bonds, and I've been happy about it every day since. Yet he's the guy that would actually bring some value in return. Why not trade Bonds now, before he blows out anymore birthday candles?
