Ten Reasons to Love the Blue Angels

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors’ Government Audit and Oversight Committee recently rejected a resolution from Supervisor Chris Daly calling for a ban on the Blue Angels that fly over the City during Fleet Week in October. Here’s ten reasons why the committee was right in its decision to keep the jets in the air over our City.

1. They send a message to al Qaeda and company that here in San Francisco we’re tough on terrorism and won’t let anyone push us around. If the jets scare young kids and pets or crash and kill people, it’s a small price to pay for a safe and secure homeland.
