Concerts at the Cadillac: Jarrett Cherner TrioPaul Hogarthbyline‚ Aug. 13‚ 2008Last summer, we were pleased to have jazz pianist Jarrett Cherner perform for us at the Cadillac Hotel. Join us this Friday, August 15th at 12:30 p.m. -- where Jarrett will be accompanied by Sam Adams on acoustic bass, and Hamir Atwal on the drums. The Jarrett Cherner Trio has released their first album, Burgeoning, which is now available for order online. The San Jose Mercury News calls Jarrett Cherner "one of the most exciting young pianist-composers on the Bay Area scene." He holds a degree in jazz piano from the New England Conservatory, and received an Honorable Mention from the ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Awards in 2006. The Cadillac Hotel is at 380 Eddy Street (@ Leavenworth), and the concert is free of charge. |
