More Carmen Chu ...

To the Editor:

I have lived in the Sunset for 32 years, play an active role in the community and the city and an totally confident in the abilities of Carmen Chu. I met Carmen her first week in office and was immediately impressed with her intelligence and confidence. I have not been disappointed, even though I do not agree with her votes on all issues.

I can not think of one issue coming up in our district that she would not consider carefully and thoughtfully. What seems to elude Merry Stream is that the length of time of residence does not make up for the lack of the above qualifications.

Carmen has been actively present the district since her first day office. I have not heard one legitimate criticism of her--if the worst they can come up with is who contributed to her campaign, I wish that were true of all candidates for all office.
